Prof John Shongwe

John P Shongwe lectured in Geography and Environmental Science at the University of Zululand for more than ten years. 

He was the Rector/ Principal of Mgwenya College of Education for nine years. He was the Campus Director of the Tshwane University of Technology, Nelspruit Campus. John served at the University of Mpumalanga as a member of the Strategic Management Team.

He holds a Masters degree from University of Durban, a U.Ed degree and Doctoral degree in Geography and Environmental studies from University of Pretoria.
